Halifax to Cork?

Ahoy massnspace:
I did a trans Atlantic from Gibraltar to Barbados, but have never done a Halifax to Cork passage. However Halifax was my home port and I made multiple trips to Florida / Bahamas.

The third trip south was MUCH before comfortable because of a note I came across that said, "Never mind the sexy yellow sea boots--just wear running shoes and winter boots over them. Throw the boots away when you get to your destination".
PS: I'd opt for the Halifax - Azores - Europe route, s-o-o-o much more comfortable.
