I brought my boat, a benetaeu 390, from Athens to Nice in 1991.
Great trip and the canal was very nice.
Love to do it again

tried to post a video of ours in 2015 but would not go - but yea interesting passage and expensive

I'll tell you what I did really enjoy about it.. the excellent Souvlakis, salad and cold beers I enjoyed at the bar/restaurant on the E side after we'd passed through and waiting for the office to open after their lunch break..

We went though the Canal (from west to east) in the summer of 2015. Here are photos, a video from mid-canal, a bit of its history, the modern situation we encountered transiting it, such as which day of the week it is closed, etc.

Corinth Canal, Greece - Golden Glow

The canal saved us a lot of time heading east, but on the way back from Turkey we sailed to Crete and then the Peloponnese and enjoyed that route too.
