Homestead Florida Mooring Fields

I live in Homestead FL and am just starting to get into sailing. I found a 24' sailboat I'm looking to purchase but first I'm trying to find a place to put her. I don't want to pay to slip and most people in this are seem to anchor their boats and just leave them anchored. I am looking or a good place that's easy to get to and doesn't cross over private property. I'm looking at the card sound area just south of me but I'm not sure if the laws will allow it. Can anyone offer suggestions please?

I don’t know of any mooring fields South of Dinner Key. Don’t forget if you just anchor out you’ll need a dinghy and a place to store and launch it. Is it possible to trailer the boat? Homestead Bayfront Park has a nice trailer ramp.
