Hotel on Warderick Wells

I have recently read in two locations, that the Bahamian government has reached an agreement with a developer to build a luxury resort at Warderick Wells, in the center of the Exhumas Land and Sea Park.

Someone must have really greased some palms for this move. No more Sea Park for us, particularly after their imposing fees just to anchor in their waters.

This is a truly sad development, esoecially for those of us who years ago provided the labor to clear trails and remove trash in order to help with the success of the park, along with the longtime warden (whose name escapes me at the moment).
