I took part in the demo day here last week on a Nacra 17 foiler and it was an absolutely incredible experience for a displacement sailor- if you have a chance, they're in Ottawa at the end of June and it is truly worth the effort. It's ridiculously fast and once you're on the trapeze, pretty darn easy. The guys driving know what they're doing so if you have basic knowledge of flying a spinny and a wetsuit you're good to go. The hardest part was getting myself into a wetsuit that I hadn't worn in 15 years. Apparently bodies change. Give it a go.

There are some pretty good shots of a Nacra 17 Foiling in this video.

It puts you right there so you can even hear the humming from the boat/foils.
