How to clean colored spinnaker stains on a sock?

Some colored stains from a spinnaker that was left wet in the sock for too long
have made it to the top of ny todo list.

What's the best way to get these stains out of the sock?

try soaking in a light solution of bleach and / or swimming pool chlorine

Rinse in fresh water, expose to sunlight. Ignore whatever's left afterwards, generally such stains will disappear from the UV.

It depends on the fabric type of the sock and the stain type. I have had great results on google/youtube asking stain questions when you have fabric type and stain type.
