As GordMay says, anchor off Bartica, Hurakabra or Baganara. There are no marinas, just rickety jetties for the local boats. Chill out and enjoy the place; it's so isolated but very civilised in a quiet local way. I don't think Bartica can be reached by road; everything comes 50 miles up the river, even the diesel for the Bartica power station. But the satellite dishes provide TV, internet and cell phone links so life there is very comfortable. But you are 6° N of the equator in the middle of a rain forest, so it is hot and wet!
