Idiot Needs Anchoring Advice ( Please )

In the Med where I am at the moment the waters warm and clear and its common for people to inspect their anchor.
The weird thing is that only a very small percentage ever does anything about a poorly set anchor. If its still attached to the end of the chain and on the bottom they seem happy!!!

Wherein the med are you? Lots of rocky bottom anchorages especially around Italy, easy to loose hooks there

Thought the mooring balls were there to protect the coral that is damaged by anchoring.
Use a mooring.
