Insurance Question/Mystery

I got a quote for insurance from GEICO for $3,600 and from Berkley One for the same coverage for $2,100. Since I generally subscribe to the adage "If it is too good to be true, it usually isn't true", I'm a bit nervous about choosing Berkley One.

Can anyone provide me with some insight? Thank you.

Re: Insurance Question/Mystery

Recommend one obtain the complete policies and review / compare the detailed coverages, not just a summary.

With insurance the devil is in the details and the details tend to be complex.

Good luck.

Re: Insurance Question/Mystery

It is likely you are not comparing similar coverages…

To help me remember the general differences, I maintain this brief page of info that helps me each time I need to compare marine insurance cover:

In case it is useful.

Cheers, Bill
