But we should keep in mind that the question itsel wasn't stupid. In act it was a good question to have asked given they truely didn't understand what would be involved. Hopefully we didn't bumfussle them away for good.

This trip, San Diego to Vancouver, is normally done via Hawaii. Probably not what you want to do for a first time sail in a 25ft boat.
