Seems the boat's owner wants to be noticed. ... Photo was taken on the SF Bay last Friday morning; the sailboat was heading south near SF's northeast shore as we traveled west on our way from Clipper Cove to Sausalito.

They're just down the dock from me, took a close look this past Saturday. Haven't had a chance to talk with the owner yet. The wing is built by Photon Composites, looks to be part of their test bed for SailDrone:

You're kidding, right? This forum is full of people who throw away roller furlers because they're "dangerous" & "undependable". You'll never see them adopt a rig like that!
