Isla Mujeres,Mx to Rotan, Honduras

Hello Everyone-

Im new to the sight and sailing community. I would like to know if anyone has recently made the passage from Isla Mujers to Rotan or vice versa? If so which ports were used? How was the security, anemities, fuel, entrance and exit, marina, docks, friendliness of these ports?
I/we have read of the recent piracy, yet not much other infomation has been availible. Any bits of information would be grately appreciated?
