Was gonna mention that, as I have bought similar music from such sources.
One clip I purchased for a dramatic sailing video was eventually also used on a Toyota commercial, so it sort of ruined it. I think I paid $35, so I can't complain...

Or he inherited his pile and just employs personal servants. Like the American Education Secretary. If the boat was purchased used there’s no credit for the workers who built it, only the first owners gets that......

Re: Italian Style

Seems like a few bitter boaters wanna turn this into some sort of politcal debate, while the rest of us would like to simply appreciate beauty and style for what they are, which also goes to the perfect blend of music to go with the fantastic video editing.

How do the bitter ones ever enjoy a museum filled with masterpieces? I’m guessing they can’t.

Re: Italian Style

Well, I have to say the lack of seating on deck would be a draw back, and I didn't see any ports either, how would one see the outside world. She looks like a well performing yacht in all repects however I would suspect her of being wet in the rough. Overall not to my personal taste.
Now if I had that kind of disposable finance, something similar to the old Grand Banks schooners on the other hand.....or perhaps even a Baltimore clipper ....oh....yes... that....

those museums are generally filled with looted wealth from wars,or donated works of art generally so the the owners avoid paying tax on their estates.

can't see the owner inviting the public onboard for guided tours at any price

So... you and the others are really unable to simply enjoy the video or works of art for what they are? In your mind it becomes tainted due to assumptions on your part?

Re: Italian Style

Possibly saw not only him but his bank account too, but all politics (and everything else) aside, close reaching, in a good breeze, I'd wager good money that, that boat is a right demon.
Different strokes for different folks, and all that.
As far as the videos themselves go they are well made, but for featuring a vessel like that I would hope/expect them to be, and would actually be disappointed if they were anything else.
For me fits right in there with the videos of the Volvo boats trying to make themselves into submarines, nice to watch, just not for me.
And no need for getting worked up, it's just someone else's boat after all....

it was mearly an observation and comment on your comparison between an ostemtatious display of private wealth and publicly owned treasures derived from looting and tax avoidance .
