Kretschmer, 59 North, Mahina, Etc. Your Review?

Have you done ocean sailing with John Kretschmer, 59 North, Mahina Offshore or something similar? What was your experience? Would you do it again? Pros and cons? I have looked for reviews online but have not found much. I am looking to get some offshore miles without the vagaries of the crew websites.

Anecdotally, I've also heard nothing but good things of John and Amanda of Mahina - it's just that they are in the PNW, which can be quite a hike (and jet lag during the entire week of training), depending on where you're based.
