Lake Worth Anchorages

Hi Friends
We are waitlisted for a slip in West Palm beach for
a few days and as such might need to Anchor out.
I’ve only been there once and we dropped the hook south of
Peanut island and then continued the next day.
On this go around we have dingy ashore for Covid testing
What’s the best place to anchor with good access to shore
and a spot to leave the dink for a few hours?
I know there is spot in north Lake Worth
but can’t seem to find any info about leaving a dingy for a few hours.
Also a spot further south was mentioned near the Norton Mueseum??
Cheers
Neil

Re: Lake Worth Anchorages

You can anchor out off the NW end of Palm Beach - check with local marinas for info on moorings. Or anywhere around Peanut island that you find an empty parking space

Or outside the ICW between the two bridges downtown West Palm Beach.

You can tie up for the day at the City of West Palm Beach public landing west side of ICW, google maps clearly show it at Clematis/Flagler intersection.

From there you can then catch the free downtown shuttle bus to grocery stores, or to the central bus/train station.

Thanx
Just the info that I was looking for.
When you say tie up for the day I assume you mean the Dink?
Google shows what appear to be yachts tied up?
Cheers
