Landlubber and need some advice for sailing in the Agean Sea

Dear all,

I'm a landlubber and need some advice.

I'm a researcher having a small project on a small Greek islet in the Aegean Sea. To get there I have to hire a boat and sailor for two separate days (5-6 hours each day). It is during September and the areas is the northernmost islands of the Dodecanese complex.

I have to travel back and forth from the Island to the study site (small Islet) two times, giving a total distance of 50 Nautical Miles (international).

We are 3 people with 3-5 luggages with gear.

I have got to two offers and I wonder what will be the best, please mentioned pros and cons:

1. Chris-Craft 10 meters -> 1000 Euro

2. Spartan traditional wooden boat with length of 14.70m long, engine horse power 165 --> 800 Euro

A small inflatable rubber boat will be used to reach the Islet while the boat is on anchor.
