Lauderdale to Abacos for new year's??

Is Dec and Jan good times to visit the Abacos from Lauderdale? Probably not my ideal time, but the girlfriend wants to visit for a new year trip. Any comments are always appreciated? Thank you
Shawn

It is hard for members here to give you a meaningful answer if you don't give us any info about what you have and your ability. Please put some effort in first.

Re: Lauderdale to Abacos for new year's??

We have been to Green Turtle for Christmas and New Years. There is a Cruisers Pot luck that gets between 40 and 80 people. The Junkanoo on New Years is the best in the Abacos. It's lobster season and the diving on the ocean side is excellent. You can dive from the Ocean Beach as the first reef is only 150yds offshore. That week is very busy in the Abacos.
