Leasing as an EU citizen for a catamaran from the Caribbean

Hi, I found several topics about leasing on this forum, but none specifically match my query. If I missed something, I would be grateful for the link.

I come from Poland, I have a sole proprietorship and I would like to finance the purchase of a catamaran. The budget is about $200-300k. Most valuable offers in this budget are located somewhere in the Caribbean. This suits me very well because the plan is for the yacht to stay there permanently for at least several years.

I submitted inquiries to several brokers in the US and each one answered me the same - without having a good FICO score, there is no chance of getting a loan there. So this option is out of the question.
In Poland, banks are not interested in the yacht market and do not want to finance them. However, leasing in Poland is possible, but the yacht must be in the territorial waters of Poland, which would involve high transport costs.

Do you know of any other financing methods that would allow for the leasing of a yacht purchased in the Caribbean, without its transport to the EU? Do you know if there are any lessors who would accept if the yacht were to be stationed in the waters of an overseas French territory (for example, Martinique)?

No personal knowledge of sources, but FICO scores are only applicable to US banks. Some of the islands have local or regional rating systems, some don't. Even if you are looking at a private purchase, it can't hurt to ask some of the charter companies about financing alternatives for ex-charter boats. They've probably done the research.

Thanks! I thought that the local market was exclusively focused on the US banking system, at least that was my impression when browsing through the offers.
I'll definitely ask them
