This is interesting. Anyone know anything more about it?

Re: Mantus boat

This page seems to give some more info: https://www.mantusmarine.com/mantus-dinghy/

It sounds pretty heavy at 190 lbs though. I wonder what of the included stuff is counted in that weight. Add an outboard and fill the 6 gallon gas tank and you're looking at quite a bit of weight for a 10.5 foot dinghy.

Re: Mantus boat

Looks like cross of an Portland Pudgy and an OC3. Pity it doesn’t sail.

Re: Mantus boat

Compare it to a 10-ft 6 AB aluminum bottom RIB.
Same length
The RIB weighs 130 compared to 190 for the Mantus
The RIB can take a 20 hp motor compared to the 15 for the Mantus
The RIB costs 6290 in Hypalon compared to 5440 -- score one for the Mantus.
The Mantus looks like it has more interior volume, but I must say it is butt ugly!

Re: Mantus boat

Price wise, compared to some of the other similar size/shape hard tenders like the OC Tender, it's downright cheap. Definitely not a pretty piece of equipment though.
