Mediterranean Float Plan

We are planning to cruise the Med for two seasons and wondered if anyone could recommend a float plan.
We will start in the Azores and thought maybe head for Sicily, Greece and end first season in Turkey. Second season northerly through Italy, France and Spain
Really looking for some ideas based on weather and crowds!

Re: Mediterranean Float Plan

Don't forget the Adriatic. Albania, Montenegro and Croatia are fantastic. And never miss Malta.

Re: Mediterranean Float Plan

Prices shoot up in August and the whole of Italy goes on holiday then, everywhere chocka block full. Also don't over look the Schengen 90 day problem.

Instead, from the Azores head East and then turn left. You can have 6 months in the UK after stopping in France, then Holland Germany, Sweden or Norway. Into the Baltic. A quick tour and back to the UK to reset you Schengen clock for the trip down to the pillars of Hercules.
