Miami Boat Show 2022

Went there yesterday. For me, it was very disappointing. There were very few sailboats and fewer boat-related accessories vendors than I saw at other shows. Shuttles between locations are well organized but take too much time. Needs better mapping of locations including descriptions of what is there. I drink a lot, but on the show at 10 am... could be difficult to navigate the crowd.

If you looking for sailboats, take a water taxi from the Herald Square/Station. To get to The Herald, take a bus shuttle from the Convention Center. There are no sailboats in the Convention center, even so, some attendants may route you there.

Most of the sailing specific stuff is at Museum Park Marina. Still a very small amount but about normal for the Florida shows.

Agree with the OP. This was our first time back since 2014. No lectures, fewer sailboats. No presence from Catana except for a couple Balis shown by Dream Yacht Charter. Only two (sort of)performance cats at the show at all.

No innovative products except a clever stretchable shade and the fendertex light fenders. All else was same old. And imo more focus on fishing and powerboats.

Sunbrella had some new stuff out but no rep at their booth(?) The new was vinyl (but it didn’t look like awning quality) and sling (like Phifertex). I would have liked to speak to their rep about those.
