Agree on English not been the native language,I am Argentine transplanted to USA and that makes me to be very conscious of the meaning of what I try to convey,on the issue of euthanasia I did double check and there is a difference between euthanasia and genocide.
On euthanasia, "Wartime, Adolf Hitler suggested, "was the best time for the elimination of the incurably ill."
"The euthanasia" program required the cooperation of many German doctors, who reviewed the medical files of patients in institutions to determine which handicapped or mentally ill individuals should be killed. The doctors also supervised the actual killings. Doomed patients were transferred to six institutions in Germany and Austria, where they were killed in specially constructed gas chambers.
Despite public protests in 1941, the Nazi leadership continued this program in secret throughout the war. About 200,000 handicapped people were murdered between 1940 and 1945.

My experience is the exactly opposite of that indicated by your mysterious actuarial science...
I once witnessed a NEW sailor complete an accidental tack, followed by an accidental bearing away followed by an accidental gybe followed by an accidental rounding up. Another yacht sailed over and asked whether we were trying to retrieve a man overboard.
To this day, I have yet to see an OLD sailor perform a 360 without touching a sheet.

Re: Missing yacht near Barbados..

Victoria Australia has just past into law, A Euthanasia Law,

Medically assisted death for chronically ill persons that dont want to be kept alive at all costs,

Once Dignity and Quality of life has no longer any relevance to living,

Parkinsons disease at a very advanced stage for instance, Currently no Cure,

Genocide is a totally different story, Dont confuse the two,

Personally I agree with it, The Euthanasia law,

Putting my dog down after 13 years because he could no longer walk, Still affects me greatly, But it was in the best interests of my dog, It was Humane for him,

It s a long trip from a poor soul being lost at sea to being to old to do things ,getting insurance , and then on to Hitler and back to the right to die movement and euthanasia .
