Mooring

Hi All!

This is my forst post. I have recently been turned
on to sailing ang got my first sailboat late last year!

It is a 17' McGregor Venture and I live in the Boston
area. I really do not want to be trailering it everytime
I want to sail, so I would like to explore some mooring options.

I do not mind traveling outside of the city to get to my boat
but do not really know where to start and how the process
works.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas for me? I really like
Weymouth and the south shore so I want to see if I can moor there.

Thanks in advance,
Milton

Can not help you on the South Shore. But there is room in Salem; check at Hawthrone Cove if you what a marina with showers etc. (where I chose for the year). Hawthrone also owns Salem water taxi that has rental moorings a lower pricing. Mid Harbor Marine in Salem also does mooring rentqals and lanuch service (used them last year). Good luck!
