Re: Naked Sailing - Truth or Wishful Thinking ?

It was a bit too cool to be sailing naked this past weekend but it's getting closer. We attended the Lats & Atts party in Freeport and the wind was on the nose both directions. Oh well, at least we were out on the water sailing.

The wife and I were able to get out for a while last Saturday. There isn't anything better than seeing her laying out in her birthday suit.

Re: Naked Sailing - Truth or Wishful Thinking ?

Sailing I will do..... while Naked? My ego won't stand all of the laugher and yucks from the other boats. So am decently covered. And my birthday suit does need a bit of ironing, to get out the winkles.

*wiping the tea spatters off my screen*

Thanks for the snorfle boasun... my screen needed cleaning...

I am SO sympathetic about the wrinkly state of the birthday suit...

Because of that AND because the fair freckled hide burns easily most of my nekid sailing is from the bottoms down...

there is pretty much always a big loose tshirt on over whatever else is not there to keep the wrinkles hid and the burn off!

sailing nekkid is ok if the sun dont burn the important parts.....be safe out here..LOL
wrinkles are only seen by those on board--we all have 100 ft bodies and 100 ft boats lol

Re: Naked Sailing - Truth or Wishful Thinking ?

A semi-naked sailing story that wouldn't be all that unusual in the French islands, but was somewhat of an oddity in the BVI.

We were on a mooring at Cooper's Island several years ago. We had sailed up to meet our son who had flown down from the States to join us for a week of sailing. I was below, and happened to glance out the port. A 40-something guy was slowly steering his boat into the mooring field, aiming at a vacant mooring ball. On the bow was a very buxom blond, topless, with a bikini bottom. I immediately went on deck to see what was next. (Neither my wife nor my son, who were watching from the cockpit, had alerted me to this nautical maneuver for some reason!)

The skipper expertly slowed his boat as he approached the ball, bringing it to a halt at just the right moment. A second topless crew member, a slender brunette also wearing a bikini bottom, hopped into the towed dinghy and gracefully paddled it up to the mooring ball, where she picked up the pendant and handed it to the blond on the bow. Safely moored, the crew returned to the cockpit for a congratulatory hug from the skipper.

There's nothing like a well-trained crew.

Well now.. we are very new to this and we both were hoping to sail naked! that is when the weather allowed it. However must proceed with caution! Wouldn't want anything to get caught or hung up on anything!!

You are sure right about that. The wife and I were out all day last Sunday. Breeze 10-15, air temps in the mid 80's, with the bay temp in the mid 70's. If it weren't for kids, we probably wouldn't have come home...and those naked hugs were the best!
