NC Surveyor You'd Recommend?

Looks like we're FINALLY narrowing in on two possible boats, so now I need to find a really good surveyor in NC -- the New Bern to Oriental area.

Got some great leads on a Florida surveyor earlier and am hoping for the same here. Either place is a VERY long drive so I like to have this all set up before I get there so I can be present for the survey without having to pay for a hotel for an extended time.

Thanks for your help with this. And if you don't mind, please tell me WHY you recommend a specific surveyor.

regards,
Mike

I just hired a surveyor today. His name is Robert Everle. He came highly recommended to me. Very maticulous in his work. I actually just bought a boat in New Bern today.

Another vote for Rob (his last name is actually Eberle). He is well known in the Oriental/New Bern area and was highly recommended by an experienced racing sailor friend of mine when we were buying our boat. His survey was very thorough, and he was obviously working for us, not the broker. Very professional and knowledgeable guy.

Thanks to both of you. I appreciate the help a LOT.

And congratulations, Bob. What kind of boat did you get? (Looking for a little vicarious thrill here 'til I have my own boat again.)

regards,
Mike
