Need some adhesive expertise

One of my dodger panels got busted in Hurricane Ian. It was about the only damage so I am very lucky. But the canvas guy wants over $900 to redo one panel- 20 x 40 inches approximately.
I have semirigid acrylic sheet plastic windows in my dodger. Brand name EZ2CY. I have fabricated a new acrylic panel. The canvas is OK. It is glued to the Sunbrella with methylmethacrylate (aka isocyanurate) adhesive. Same stuff as Krazy Glue. I did a test piece and it hold great. But it sets too quick to do the whole panel.

I need a MMA or IC glue with an extended working time of about 15 minutes. This is what the EZ2CY company uses but they do not sell their glue direct to consumers. I cannot imagine that this small company makes their own adhesive, so it must be commercially available, but I cannot seem to find a product that has a longer set up time.

Anyone know of a source?

Great. Plexus MA310 looks like exactly what I need. Thanks.

Re: Need some adhesive expertise

After 2-3 weeks of worrying and heel dragging,
I finally started the task. Turned out quite well. Trimmed back the protective film along the edges on both sides, taped plexiglass to one side of the canvas, flipped it over and glued the other side. Weighted it down with ziplocks full of wet sand. Glue set overnight, removed remaining film from that side, flip it over and did the other side.
Canvas shop wanted $940 to make a replacement plus shipping. Cost $42 for 3/32” hi strength acrylic and $20 or so for the adhesive.
Even though it is an order of magnitude more difficult to fabricate, I love the clear, wrinkle free and non cloudy acrylic windows.

Nice job. Would you mind sharing where you sourced the Acrylic and glue?

Thanks.
Paul.

Re: Need some adhesive expertise

Acrylic thru Grainger. Ships to store for free which is a big bonus. 3/32" thickness is a little hard to find otherwise. McMaster has some that is possibly more scratch resistant, but shipping would double the cost.
I got a generic form of Plexus MA310 on eBay for $20 shipped. Later found a website- gluegun.com that has it for $15 or with a gun for $39. https://www.gluegun.com/products/mma...40145459118233
I had a problem with dispensing it. I didn't buy the gun which I did not see available at a good price. It is two parallel tubes injecting into a mixing nozzle. When I did the first side, I must have pushed one side harder at one point because one side backed up into the other. When I did the second side, it would not dispense. I had to cut the tubes open and hand dispense/mix, then applied with a Qtip.
