New Productions of Charter Yachts

It is a pitty but the quality managers won the race:

"Quality management means to sell the lowest possible quality without loosing a single buyer"

My findings on a new 2ys old 51 ft. boat of a southern german facrtory:

seacocks:
brass of uncertain made without connections to the sacrifying anode
furniture: cheapest possible metal fittings, already corroded
wood? = cheap chipboard not marine grade
Bilge pump: manual, think 2,4 cbm/hr - makes me lough ( I have 2 x 2,4 cbm service pumps and of course 1x emergency with 16 cbm/hr + 3 Way Seacock at the engine cooling intake)
batteries: minimal layout dropping from 13,8 to 12,4 within 6 hrs.
Deck hardware: screws often without backplates - just screwed into GRP
Electricity: all possible electric layout changed to sensitive electronic parts
freshwater systems: according to the charter company problems since they got the boat new.
genua is a little bigger than a jib. Rails inside the stays but only +/-40° on the tack.

They convert to double ruddr blades. Good to sail but unusable to steer at docking at 1-2 knots. (No water stream at the blades)

I will not participate on the discussion itself I just want to report my findings on a 250.000 $ boat....
