Re: New Years Sailing Resolutions

Complete new restaurant and marina and do more sailing. 2016 was a sailing bust and 2017 needs to be better.

Damn, you're nowhere near me. I need some time under sail.

Re: New Years Sailing Resolutions

Replace last 3 keelbolts. When the aft 2 are placed I will be adding a picking eye. With said picking eye and its sibling on the front pair of bolts I can then get the boat off the trailer, i.e. I can go sailing.

Re: New Years Sailing Resolutions

Spend longer than a long weekend on the boat and sail further than last year. Get the wife to be competent enough sailing should something happen to me.

Oh, and learn celestial navigation for the heck of it.

Re: New Years Sailing Resolutions

More sailing - specifically more cruising & daysailing, less racing and maybe some singlehanded sailing.
