Outboard Horsepower for a Lightweight Proa?

The boat: a 40 foot fiberglass and carbon fiber proa, quite lightweight. Schooner rig, unstayed masts, wishbone booms.

I need an outboard for light wind conditions and maneuvering in marinas. Looks like I'm having to settle for a gasoline outboard.

What horsepower rating should I be interested in? Moving fast on motor power alone will never be the goal, unless, I suppose, I'm trying to outrun a squall. In which case I'm sure I'll wish I had a rocket strapped to the bridge deck.

5 hp? 10? More?
