Re: Outleader Kites

I think a kite would be great for a power cat. Back in the days when Dave Culp was trying to market them there was an article in Multihulls magazine about a 50 ish ft trimaran which lost its mast in a regatta in the Carribean and they delivered it back to Florida with an outleader kite. One of the nice thinks claimed was that with attachment to the deck only and not high up on a mast you were unlikely to be capsized by sailpower.

Re: Outleader Kites

Might be good kit if you ever lost your mast.
