Palm beach Mooring and Dinghy docks

I have broken or dragged several well maintained moorings. These were exactly what they claimed d to be. Not sketchy.
The mooring owners all knew and were comfortable with Moonbeam on their gear.

I have not broken mine, yet. In true weather what many think is a secure mooring is not quite there.

My mooring is about 7000 pounds of concrete with very heavy (3/4”) chain and double 1-1/4” pennants. And inspected yearly. It moves a bit but not a lot.

The moorings I have dragged or broken were also inspected yearly but not heavy enough weight or strong enough pennants.

Our anchor gear is better I think than the moorings I have broken.
