Peddle boat as tender.

Hobie also sells a tandem inflatable Mirage kayak that looks very usefull for a cruiser. would store well and we have used the regular tandem Mirage for ages and love the way they peddle.

I have owned two Hobie Mirage Kayaks, single and double. Not as tenders but for exploring of off coast islands etc. Very sturdy peddle mechanism and finger/thumb steering. Head in to the waves and go! Very stable. In shallow water, just a flicker of the peddles provides propulsion. With a propeller mechanism the prop would be damaged or ripped off in shallow water. Quite a bit of safe stowage, above and below decks. But-- as a tender, you need a yacht big enough to stow it safely.
