Pets Coming and Going

does anyone have experience cruising with pets in Mexico and Central America? I know about the individual country requirements- just wanted to hear of anyone's experience on the ground.

The vet here in Key West says the USDA must stamp the health certificate; that's the requirement for export.

For reentry, CDC wants dogs vaccinated against rabies. Cats seem to slide by on this one.

Noonsite presents a good list of the country requirements, and the USDA shows more detail.

USDA - APHIS - Animal Health - International Regulations
