Question About Honolulu Sailing Co

Hi all,

My husband and I are thinking of taking a week long liveaboard ASA sailing course (104-106). After doing some research we found Honsail located in Honolulu, HI. They look like a great company, and all of our correspondence has been really professional - but I am having a difficult time finding any reviews online. I am sure they are great but sometimes it is nice to speak with other students to find out what the instructors and boats are like etc... I am curious if anyone on this forum has any first hand experience with them. You can PM me if you would like. Thanks for any info you might be able to give me

P.S. Thanks for having such a great forum. I have lurked for quite awhile and have a great time reading all the posts. I have learned a lot and it keeps me reaching towards our goal of boat ownership in the next year or so!!!

I am a female air force veteran who was stationed in Hawaii for 3 years. I have heard of Honsail, but never knew anyone who did business with them but I know they have been in business for long time. I would go for it if I were you! Hawaii is a great place to get into sailing! I learned to sail there from a retired Navy officer. It was awesome!
