Raymarine ST60 Wind

Help please- I have determined a fault with the Co'pit display gauge.
Test voltages at mast base and at Display connections are all up to speci. However ,Display shows '---'. On/off and light works ok.
I assume a fault with the Display unit ? Where can I obtain a replacement ? Ebay seems out of stock. Is it repairable ? Comments welcome. Cheers, Bob

Re: Raymarine ST60 Wind

Ray ST60s are pretty old - nobody will repair them any more, and if you find one on eBay that's working, its still pretty old!
Fortunately, the current i60 will work just fine with the sensor you have, and it will fit in the same hole!

Re: Raymarine ST60 Wind

Have you removed and reinstalled the wires at the display? There might be corrosion.

Another idea is "factory reset" of the display if there is one in the manual. I know these are dead simple compared to the current technology but I had the ST60 depth display go out after a nearby lightning strike. I never would have thought it would make a difference but I went from --- (or the equivalent) to displaying correct depths after the factory reset. You will probably need to recalibrate afterwards.

Re: Raymarine ST60 Wind

Hello hlev , thanks for the tip. I followed the manual for reset but, sadly, pressing the correct keys did not produce anything. Much appreciate your help. Cheers, Bob

Re: Raymarine ST60 Wind

Do you have a Raymarine chart plotter connected - if so does it show wind data with all units on?
