Replacing manual toilet with electric.

I have to reposition the pump 90° clockwise to fit the electric toilet in. This results in the discharge port facing the door which means bringing the discharge hose over the front and bending it back. Has anyone else come across this problem. If I could buy a toilet with a left hand discharge, this would solve my problem?

I had the same problem with a jabsco quiet flush. You can mount it all sorts of directions but you can't change the handing of the outlet. Very annoying. I'm going to change another one for electric and think I'll have the same issue. Still one of the best upgrades I've done to the boat though.

Yes very annoying, really strange that none are manufactured with alternate discharge positions.

Check out the Thetford Nano and Easy Fit heads.
I installed a Nano and it has downward output.
Take a look at the video.

Try the Sea Land by Dometic Orbit 7100 macerating electric toilet. It has a 360 degree rotating base along with a household size bowl. I have one and it is a jewel.

Re: Replacing manual toilet with electric.

Raritan PH II-E electric head outlet can be rotated to any angle. And the bowl to any 90 degree choice. Mine uses an elbow on the outlet but I think they ship a straight outlet with it also.
