Sailboats similar to SOUTHERLY?

Can anyone comment on any other boats similar to a SOUTHERLY…..swing keel is really what I am after. 32 to 38 feet. Older boats. On the east coast of USA.

Not looking for a boat with a keel/centerboard. Looking for very similar underbody to the Southerly, where the keel fully retracts.

The only one I can find is the Tanzer 10.5…..it appears some came with that keel….and if anyone is selling this boat, in good condition, I may be interested.

Re: Sailboats similar to SOUTHERLY?

Sirius will build a boat with a swing keel, https://www.sirius-yachts.com. All of the boats are under 40'. The swing keel is their most expensive keel option, and they don't sell many of them. Most go for the bilge keel.

They currently have three used boats listed on their site. Used Sirius boats are seriously hard to find. :P

Parker 325 and 335…none in US that I have seen. And this from my notes over time - lifting keels: Sadler Barracuda 45(saw maybe bad construction)
Feeling - most of their range, Feeling39 is same as Kelt 39
Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32, 35 and the Espace 1000,1100,1300 range
Beneteau 311, 323, 343
Also Moody 42
Kelt 39 *** has twin rudder, beachable

https://www.atlanticyachts.nl/en/brokerage/. aluminum centerboarders

The Dufour 382 is basically a response to Beneteau's 38, and so it also has a highly customizable interior layout. The Jeanneau 389 has a different style, is not as customizable, but it has the option of a swing keel, which is terrific.

Also try Beneteau First 305 and 325

Not as many berths, but perhaps a Bristol 35.5?

The OP specifically said he didn't want something with a stub keel and centerboard, so I think that rules out the Bristol, and probably other American centerboarders of the same era.

Sorry - missed that point. Pearson 40 comes to mind then, but may be too big.
