Saturday Sail - Marina Del Rey

Finishing up a business trip and stopped in LA to see my brother. Rented a Catalina 22 for the afternoon shift.

Awesome winds - we must have covered 25 miles in the afternoon. Note the wake in photo 277.

Wing on wing at 7:15 in the channel back to Marina Del Rey.

Ended up taking a reef in the main so we could at least eat lunch. Awesome....

Damn, Dan, now I feel even worse about missing out! One of these times, my friend, one of these times . . . It would have been great fun to have joined you guys, but next time you're going to do something like that, please keep me in mind. Maybe it will work out better next time.

Thanks for asking, and thanks, too, for posting the pics (are you growing a goatee, you skinny devil? ).
