Search for NZ built Herreshoff Bounty

Forty years ago on July 24th Janet and I launched LA FILLE D'OR a cold molded Kauri Herreshoff Bounty in New
Zealand. We would like to find her current whereabouts to say hi.
We sold her many years ago and she was renamed PET after a 19thC Sandy Hook pilot schooner. We were
briefly in touch with her crew, Steve & Liz Smith from Vermont and Fort Lauderdale. The boat was based for
many years in Southern Florida. A few years ago she was sold and we have no idea where she is or under what name.
We would really appreciate it if anyone out there has some clues. Thankyou James

I have been thinking about buying a bounty that I have found, do you have any thoughts to offer on her, I am curious how they sail, how well they go to windward, any quirks they may have etc?
