The big front hatch in the forward shower is not barred, therefore have exit back and front.

While you are securing the bad-guys out, be sure that you don't secure yourself in, in case of an emergency.

If you make the gap just big enough for you then you can safely still use it as an escape route. If anyone does come in, you are reasonably safe in the knowledge that they are not bigger than you!!! The last thing you want is a gorilla coming in and beating the ... out of you!
