The beer here is real cold it has to be chewed unless you warm it on the stove.
I think the 2' is in the midddle, near the mast. They look the same - hard for me to tell the difference. As to the speed, that has a lot to do with the operator!!!

Now I like my beer cold [hey, we live in Queensland], but I couldn't cope for long in temps below 15 celsius, so I would have about 15 layers on & be unable to move.

Anyway, did you get out for a sail?

A nice little sail yesteday. Winds weren't much. Made 3.5 to 4 knots. Wasn't much bothered by the cold. In the morning there was skim ice brushing the hull. I didn't talk to myself although I could have. I did however win/loose a game of mancala. Motored in this morning to the docks and am winterizing the engine.I used those hot hands packets which worked pretty well layered up wore the inflatable life vest. Pre made sandwiches good advice. Only saw 3 other boats out the whole weekend. I'm cold and wet now. The boat is snugged in for the winter. Time for some dockside projects. Coffe was good beer to cold.

Great to hear you got out. We are marina bound until Xmas. So lots of projects to get into. Weather is different here. 30+ deg C and has to be 99% humidity.

COffee too hot, beer just right.
Cheers

I think the additional 2 feet + is actually in the cockpit area. On your 46, I believe the area on the stbd side by the engine room is actually long enough for a bunk, but on the 44, there is not enough length for a bunk... just a storage area or a lot of 44 owners put their battery bank there, plus sail storage above. So the 46 has a much roomier cockpit and engine room as well. I believe the two staterooms, heads and salon/galley are pretty much the same in both boats.

Here in the Northern Hemisphere we are entering winter. I always winterize my boat by replenishing the sunblock supplies.
