I want to purchase a spinnaker for my Cape Dory 27. What should I look for before I make a purchase?

Do you want a cruising cruising sail with sock? I generally source sails from 2 US loft. Both of which could delivery a sail these days in not too long a time. Usually lots of Asian options but on a boat like yours the savings wouldn't be much and who know about delivery time?

You could also buy a used symetrical Spinnaker or maybe even something like a J/70 Spinnaker would suit at a substantial savings
