Re: Suggestions For Pirate Ship Looking Boats

This one is in GRP, so less problems.
There are two or three on the market - no big money.
But I do not know if the look is "piraty" enough

On the other hand, some paintwork can do (piraty) miracles on this hull...

Re: Suggestions For Pirate Ship Looking Boats

Just what we need: another amateur pirate out there, taking work away from professionals (brokers, slipway operators, chandlers, etc).

Now, if we could just add several three-inch guns/cannons on either side ... :

Re: Suggestions For Pirate Ship Looking Boats

They have a more modern version of a very piraty looking boat now:

An Ericson 31 Independence, might be worth a look. Clipper bow and heart shaped transom.

Re: Suggestions For Pirate Ship Looking Boats

My old Mariner was pretty piratey looking. Check my profile for a photo. However you need a good survey on them if you get interested. They have some dry rot issues in their marine ply and chainplates generally need to be redone.
