Okay, so we're in the midst of building our THIRD solar electric boat, so we've played with this before. I don't get how putting a turbine in the water can power the boat through the water and provide power for powering it. . . .and that sentence made me dizzy just writing it. In general, it looks like something on Second Life without the poseballs. Solar-Electric boats are delightful, especially for low speed, pleasant cruising. This thing looks like a go-fast. I suspect you'd have to pave it with solar panels to make it work, maybe using the turbines like a log-generator to charge your cells when at anchor (which is actually a pretty decent idea, especially for cloudy days). Still, wish them well.
