Texas to Florida

Insight/experience -Want to leave near Galveston for Florida -Keys-in January ,any thoughts on the passage plan-I hear January can be difficult.I have a beneteau 510,feel she is ready for the crossing,so many varied opinions and then there is mine.Len

Cold, wet, good chance of 15' to 20' short seas this time of year, buy you never know. Watch the weather and give it a go.

Current Wave heights in the GOM...pretty common this time of year...as is the direction!

Note that heights are in METERS!
