If its not too bold a question, what was the price?

lookin for a little help here. anyone think 4 hp long shaft is overkill for this boat (pudgy) at 61 pounds or can i get by with that? about 20 pounds heavier than a 3.5 but these boats handle a ton of weight. any help appreciated. thanx

Re: The Portland Pudgy ?

As a dinghy........ not so great. As a life raft, nothing I've seen is better. It's expensive because you are buying a life raft that can be used as a dinghy. To me, a PP with the extras is my life raft. You arent relying on the current. You can sail or motor to safety. PP for a life raft, I'm there. For a dinghy, nope.
