Re: The True Stories Of Cruising

Bought a used boat in the water from a person I trusted and cruised over 900 nautical miles with very few problems from December thru May. Went sometimes for several days without seeing another boat. Some days close to zero degrees and once spent 2 days and nights plowing furrows in the bottom with a CQR anchor and all chain rode in 50 to 70 knot winds. Nothern lights at night, uncrowded anchorages, beautiful scenery, and lots of wildlife.

Put the boat on the hard to refinish the exterior and fix some things that I didn't like. I have spent the whole summer here fixing all the hidden terrors that should have sunk me. Might get out of here sometime in September.
