Re: Todays Winter Sailiing....

Just a little different from our winter sails here in NY on Long Island sound (about 20-25 degrees different).
Sounds like you should listen to Ginger/MaryAnn more often.

Boy, do I hear ya, Abe!

I was whinging away with an acquaintance yesterday about new restrictions and how aggravating that they're starting up again (despite knowing how necessary they are).

Then I heard a CBC interview (like your NPR) this morning with a woman in Kuala Lumpur and the impact of Covid on her community - as well as her family personally. What a reality check. How selfish and small my thoughts have been. First-world problems, indeed!

Merry Christmas to you, Abe, and please be gentle with yourself. This "Covid Asterisk" (as my doctor-friend calls it) is hard on EVERYONE, in varying shades and gradations. We just have to get through it somehow and be kind to each other in the meanwhile - as best we can.

...and a Happy New Year!
Warmly,
LittleWing77

Little different from poor bccoast wanting to move their new boat in sub-zero(° C) temperatures and potential big outflow winds. They'll be envious.
