Toronto - Hell Yes, Finally

For the record: The community of people on this site are all fantastic. Ive posted on other sites and have had many mean and pessimistic replies.

I posted a thread a while ago wondering how to go about learning to sail. I dig the most common reply was that I just jump into it and try, perhaps an agreeable answer as it seems to be the way I enjoy learning about everything.

I will be in Toronto August 7th-9th. I have been invited to present research with one of my professors and will be driving up.

My hope is to be on the water, even if just for a little while, it will be my first time on a sailboat. I originally planned on seeking such experience through some commercial sailing company. Then remembered how many offers I have had from the people here and was wondering if anyone is interested in showing a me around.
True, I recognize that I couldn't possibly learn a sliver of what I would like to this time around - but its a damn good place to start.

I can pay you for your time.

I'm incredibly excited
