A wonderful tribute, to one who was obviously a great guy - a friend for you and many, and good father for your Lady.

Thank you for sharing - from that action and your words, I think we can recognise that your Father-in-Laws' trust in you, was well placed when it came to agreeing to your taking the hand of his Daughter in marriage.

I wish I had known your Father-in-Law - I hope one day to meet you.
